Katie has always been motivated to make health and fitness a priority in her life. While she has always been drawn to competitive sports, such as basketball or volleyball, Katie also found great benefit in developing a yoga practice while overcoming health obstacles in college. During her time at Missouri State University, she became RYT200 certified and started teaching vinyasa yoga in 2011. A few years later she was introduced to TRX and was instantly hooked! Katie loves how this method can target multiple muscle groups at once, while constantly challenging your core stabilization. Working out with the TRX suspension trainer has increased her performance level in some of her other favorite activities such as trail running, stand up paddle boarding, and golf.
