ATTIRE
- All men and women should have their mid-sections and buttocks covered. We want everyBODY to feel welcome and comfortable. If you need a shirt, we’re happy to loan you a Fit.1 t-shirt.
SHOES
- Your shoes must be studio shoes, gym shoes, and/or CLEAN shoes! Unfortunately, we do not have time to vacuum and mop between all classes, and we want the studio and gym to be clean for everyone.
- During yoga, please leave your shoes, phones, and stress outside the studio.
- For safety purposes, shoes must be worn in the gym, with pop-up yoga classes as the exception.
WEIGHTS
- Please return weights where you found them. If they go in the gym, please put them in the correct spot so the following group can find what they need.
- Please wipe your weights with the same cloth you use to wipe your mats. There is no need to spray the weights directly. Please spray the cloths or use the cleaner that is already on them.
TOWELS
- White towels are sweat towels and are to be used for sweat. Blue cloths are for mats, weights, and floor (if needed). All dirty laundry goes in the baskets provided.
DAMAGE & SPILLS
- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let us know if you damage or see something damaged, spill or see something spilled, or see that something needs attention. If you see mats that need to be retired, please let us know or bring them to the front counter. We want to keep nice mats for you. We’re proud to have one of the nicest studios/gyms in the area, and we want to keep it that way.
MATS
- PLEASE return mats like you found them - rolled nice and tight!
- No grippy socks or shoes on Fit.1 provided mats; this will avoid wear and tear. Mats are for bodies and booties. You may wear your socks and shoes on personal mats.
- Please clean your gym and studio mats with the microfiber cloths and cleaner provided.
- Please do NOT roll up wet mats. We are happy to roll them after they dry.
RECYCLE
- PLEASE put plastic, cans, and glass in the blue recycle bins, which are located in the lobby and gym. It stinks having to dig through the trash at the end of the day. Pun intended!

CANCELING CLASSES
This section does not pertain to the 30-Minute HIIT Circuit Lunch Class
- Beginning March 1, we will charge you for classes that you do not “early cancel.”
- WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT:
- You are either holding a spot that someone else could use.
- Instructors often write classes based on the attendance list (size and/or fitness level).
- CANCELLATION PERIOD: “Early cancel” is 8 hours (as of March 1). “Late Cancel” is anything less than 8 hours. We understand life happens, so we will give you grace for your first two late cancellations. We will charge upon your #3 missed classed.
- UNLIMITED PACKGES: If you have an unlimited class pass with 3 or more late cancellations, you will be charged $6 for late cancellations.
Please let us know when life throws you a curve ball. We are family and will be very understanding.
30-Min HIIT Circuit
- If you take the 30-Min HIIT Circuit, there are “Tips on How to Get the Most Out of Your Workout.” It’s important you read them! It will help you, the instructors, and others in the class. They will always be located behind the check-in iPad.
WATER
- If you need water, we have bottled water available in the black fridge in the lobby (by the coffee cart). You do not need to ask, but PLEASE use the honor system and leave a $1 or post-it on the front desk.
