HIIT RATE (HIGH-INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING)Whether you’re a seasoned athlete looking for a challenge or just beginning your fitness journey, HIIT is fun and results-driven. HIIT is a training technique in which you give 100%, all-out effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods. This type of training gets your heart rate up and keeps it up to burn more fat in less time. HIIT is effective due to post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), which boosts your resting metabolic rate keeping your body burning calories long after class is over. While HIIT is intense and efficient, we keep the moves simple and modifiable for multiple fitness levels. This one-hour class incorporates strength training and core work for a total body workout, so prepare to sweat and walk out proud!

30-MINUTE HIIT CIRCUITOur 30-Min HIIT Circuit is a drop-in style and runs during your lunch schedule. Class starts when you do! This is a HIIT (high-intensity interval training) class combined with circuit training for an effective and efficient workout. Each day’s workout will be new and challenging. There are six stations, each with two exercises – typically one strength training exercise and one HIIT movement. While this is your own workout, at your own pace, on your own schedule, you will have an instructor by you the entire time coaching you through the circuit and giving you instruction on proper form. We believe if you’re going to take the time to do it, you might as well do it right! This class is 30 minutes from start to finish, including recovery periods, so you’ll have time to shower or wipe the sweat before heading back to work..

GROUP RUNSIt's running, so not a lengthy description of the activity itself. Group runs from Fit.1 are for all levels of runners: first-timers, newbies, former college track stars, and just your regular, everyday weekend warrior. Whether you prefer to hit the pavement or negotiate the trail, we want to build community through running.
Join us for Brews & Shoes, the first Thursday of the month at Rapp's Barren Brewing. There is a 2-mile route and a 3.3 mile route. We'll get in our miles then enjoy some tasty brews. We'll meet up and leave as a group through a mapped out course that will also be marked with cones and signage. Following similar routes, there'll be a short course (2-3 miles) and a long course (4-5 miles) designed so that we see each other and all finish within a similar time frame. Technicality?...we're in Mountain Home, so there'll be some hills, but nothing major. We won't lose anyone! After the run, stick around and mingle with your buddies! Group Leader: Paul Gigliotti |
THE UNDERGROUNDWhile we're not fighting one another: "The first rule of Fight Club, is you do not talk about Fight Club."
