Barre is a fusion of yoga, Pilates, and postures inspired by ballet. We use the ballet barre for balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. We incorporate light dumbbells, as well as mats for targeted core work. Barre workouts are low-impact and incredibly effective at toning and sculpting the legs, core, and arms, as well as strengthening and increasing flexibility. We incorporate cardio in some classes to get your heart rate up and speed up your metabolism. Barre is easily adaptable to all fitness levels and is designed to recreate everyone! The added elements of dance and strengthening exercises will see you get your sweat on, and good things come to those who sweat!
